Sad news from Japan

49tjf49edf:text_lang:id
 Dear Nob,
my wife Angela, and me have been profoundly saddened by the notice. Nao was the father of our Stirling family. His personality, his passion for research, for discussing, for always finding new ways to strenghten Stirling engines will remain in our memory, together with the image of his inseparable, regal and elegant companion, Mrs. Isshiki, always accompaining him and looking after him.

His hospitality during the Conferences we had in Japan and all over the world was generous and memorable; it was the mirror of his nobility.

Despite the distance and the too short time we spent together, I had the opportunity of knowing him and well understand his spirit, profound intelligence and keen mind.

We will miss him, his scientific support, his human touch, his funny and memorable songs, merrily ending our gala dinners.

Angela and me join your pray: we wish to Nao’s soul deep peace.
Addio, mio caro amico!

Prof. Vincenzo Naso
